Hello! I’m Zakaria, and I created Morocco Gateways to help travelers experience the magic of Morocco through authentic, luxurious, and soul-stirring adventures.
I was born in the Atlas Mountains, surrounded by natural beauty and Amazigh hospitality. After years as a guide across Morocco—from ancient medinas to Sahara dunes—I discovered my passion wasn’t just showing Morocco, but helping people truly feel it.
With a background in law and a deep love for culture, I blend local insight with global perspective to craft experiences that go beyond the ordinary. Whether it’s a luxury desert escape, a culinary journey, or a custom cultural tour, I’m here to bring your dream trip to life.

A Beautiful Journey Through Morocco
I recently traveled through Morocco — Casablanca, Fès, Chefchaouen, the Sahara, and Marrakech — and having Zakaria as our guide made the entire experience smooth, enjoyable, and truly memorable. He has an easygoing, friendly style that immediately puts you at ease. Zak shared just the right amount of history, culture, and local insight without ever making the days feel rushed or overly structured. Whether we were wandering the blue streets of Chefchaouen, watching the sun set in the Sahara, or navigating the medinas, he always seemed to know exactly where to go and what would make the experience special. Including one of the most beautiful restaurants in Fes (Ishq)...such an incredible meal! What I appreciated most was his thoughtfulness and flexibility. He paid attention to what we enjoyed, adjusted plans when needed, and always made sure we felt comfortable and safe. It was like traveling with someone who genuinely cared about us having a great trip. If you’re considering Morocco, I’d highly recommend booking with Zakaria. He helped turn a beautiful itinerary into an intentional experience I’ll remember for a long time.
